G2 ★★★★★Email Under Control: Digest Scheduling and SaneBlackHole Are Game-Changers
Inbox clarity and empowerment What they like: SaneBox has allowed me to truly put a "container" around my email. Instead of being constantly interrupted, I have it set up to open my digest at 2:00 PM each day. By the time I open it, I feel completely empowered and in the right headspace to review what’s accumulated in my SaneLater and SaneNews folders. I also absolutely love the SaneBlackHole feature. It is incredibly satisfying to drop random, unwanted emails in there and know I’ll never have to deal with them again. Highly recommend! What they dislike: Honestly, there isn't much to complain about. It takes a few days of training to get the filters exactly where you want them, but the AI learns incredibly fast. It's well worth the tiny initial effort.

★★★★★SaneBox: Effortless Email Management
SaneBox filters out unimportant emails, saving me at least 5 hours each week and lets me focus on more valuable tasks. What they like: I love how SaneBox manages all the clutter in my e-mail inboxes by catching unimportant mail and filtering it into other folders, and it also flags important e-mails for my quick response. Since using it, I've saved at least 5 hours each week because I don't have to manually manage my inbox. The extra time I save allows me to spend more time on other activities. The initial setup was very easy, just by pointing it at my e-mail inboxes, and it created an API token to start sorting e-mail immediately. I find the web app very easy to follow, and it's great that I can use SaneBox with both Outlook and Gmail. What they dislike: The mobile app could use some better organization in the UI.

G2 ★★★★★Effortless Email Management with SaneBox
I use SaneBox to manage my emails, separating important ones from those that can wait, so I face less distraction in the morning. Its simple features like SaneLater and SaneNews help limit distractions and keep my inbox organized. What they like: I really appreciate how SaneBox helps me manage my emails by separating what's important from what can wait, which reduces distractions in the morning. I value the organization it brings, especially with the Sane Later and Sane News features. They're simple and limit distractions effectively. Even with the simplest usage, it's terrific. The initial setup was very easy, even for someone like me who isn't into complicated systems. SaneBox is so helpful it feels like having an assistant, and I'd rate it a 10 for recommendation. What they dislike: nothing to dislike

G2 ★★★★★Sanebox .... it made me sane again
Sanebox helps my business sift through spam emails that could otherwise impact the business in a negative way. When you consider that an employee can spend 10–15 minutes per day moving and deleting spam emails, that’s a huge amount of time saved. What they like: It’s so easy to set up and use on a daily basis. It has already saved me a lot of time, and I feel my company is a bit more secure now because the bad emails are being filtered out before they reach my inbox. What they dislike: I can’t really say anything bad about it. Everything works perfectly.

G2 ★★★★★Inbox Zero Made Effortless with Sanebox
Sanebox solves the clutter that used to live in my Inbox. Now, each message is quickly organized in easy to locate folders with actions to handle those messages much quicker. SaneLater and SaneNews help to move messages where they belong and allow me to read through them when I have the time throughout the day. And SaneBlackHole is a great option for discarding stuff you may want occasionally but for the pesky senders that like to email every hour. What they like: Sanebox is essential to maintain an Inbox Zero setup. I have been using Fastmail for years, and recently tried Sanebox. Now I can't live without it. My email is easily managed and every message is actionable without much hassle. Fastmail + Sanebox is a great combination. What they dislike: Nothing. Everything about Sanebox has been great. I paid for my subscription before my trial ended because I felt so confident in how it was improving the way I use email.

G2 ★★★★★Effortless Inbox Management with SaneBox
SaneBox keeps my inbox clean, sorting unwanted emails into a black hole and questionable ones into a review folder. It learns over time, helping me prioritize effectively, so my inbox stays manageable and nothing important gets overlooked. What they like: SaneBox has really been a lifesaver for managing my inbox. I appreciate that it can automatically sort emails into categories, putting the unnecessary ones into a folder that gets deleted over time, and others into a "sane later" folder for me to review daily. It's pretty amazing how it's able to learn what's a priority and what's not. Thanks to this, my inbox is always clean, and I reach inbox zero each week without missing anything important. I like that I didn’t have to change my primary email address, which would have been disruptive, because my inbox remains organized. The AI seems well-tuned in deciding what's important for me and what’s not, making sure I can review anything questionable. I also appreciated how easy it was to get SaneBox up and running—it sorted emails instantly and was helpful from the get-go. I use it with Outlook and appreciate its ability to learn from how I sort emails, which helps keep my inbox clutter-free. What they dislike: No issues with SaneBox.

G2 ★★★★★Transforms Inbox Management with Ease
SaneBox organizes my inbox, keeping important emails visible and categorizing others into subfolders. It frees up my time to focus on crucial tasks by learning my reading habits and helps me efficiently read and address emails. What they like: I use SaneBox to organize my inbox, and it effectively leaves important emails in my inbox while moving other emails into different subfolders, like news-related emails into a news subfolder. This helps me utilize my time reading and addressing emails efficiently. SaneBox has freed up a lot of my time as I can focus on what is important. The initial setup was very easy, and I was up and going in less than an hour. It does a great job, and I highly recommend it. What they dislike: I cannot think of anything

G2 ★★★★★Effortless Inbox Management, Worth Every Penny
SaneBox organizes my work and personal inboxes, reducing overwhelm and anxiety. It prioritizes important emails and sorts newsletters and spam, enhancing my email management. What they like: I like how easy SaneBox is to implement, and I appreciate the speed of its use. The setup took less than a half hour and was very quick and easy. I love that it constantly learns how to sort emails according to my preferences, which saves me from needing to hire an assistant. SaneBox eliminates the anxiety and overwhelm of managing my email inbox by sorting newsletters, receipts, and spam to ensure I only see what's important. What they dislike: I do wish that there was a way to tell it that not everything from the same domain goes to the same place. Prioritizing things by sender would be great.

SaneBox helps me focus on high-priority emails and organizes my emails by category. It addresses my overwhelming inbox, allowing me to find important emails easily. The setup was incredibly easy and intuitive, making it simple to use. What they like: I use SaneBox for organizing my emails by category, allowing me to focus on high-priority emails without getting distracted. I like how easy and intuitive it was to set up and use, and it was up and running within thirty minutes. The SaneBox black hole feature that automatically unsubscribes me from unwanted emails is awesome. The team's responsiveness in making adjustments and helping me learn about the features is something I appreciate. I didn't find SaneBox earlier, but now it's my go-to email management system, and I’m happy to recommend it to everyone. What they dislike: There isn't anything that I don't like about it.

G2 Rated 4.5/5Effortlessly Focus on Important Emails
SaneBox helps me focus on important emails, reducing distractions from unimportant ones. It allows me to manage emails at my preferred frequency and keeps my inbox organized so I don't feel overwhelmed. What they like: I like that SaneBox can help me get my inbox to zero if I wanted to, which is great because I get anxious when I have pending emails. It helps me organize without being overwhelmed, focusing on important emails and allowing me to check them with the frequency I want. The initial setup was simple. G2 ★★★★★Keeps My Inbox Organized and My Workflow Stress-Free
SaneBox literally keeps my mailbox sane. It automatically sorts email into categories once you’ve trained it, and the Blackhole for spam means I never have to see those messages again. There’s also a CC folder, so anything I’m CC’d on goes straight into that mailbox, etc. Overall, it makes the daily flow of incoming email much more efficient, so I’m not wading through spam just to get to the actual work emails. What they like: It keeps my workflow clean and tidy. The filters I’ve set up for sorting my emails make my day feel much less chaotic. What they dislike: I dont have any particular dislikes, I thinks its a good tool.

★★★★★Effortless Email Management with SaneBox
I find SaneBox simplifies my email management by sorting my emails into compartments like Inbox, SaneLater, and SaneNews. It helps in identifying important emails easily and is simple to set up. What they like: I love how simple SaneBox is to set up. It just connects and links with my Fastmail account and works out of the box, creating three compartments: important emails in Inbox, less important ones to SaneLater, and those not important at all to SaneNews. I find this organization incredibly helpful. The AI used in SaneNews and SaneLater to sort all the emails is fantastic, and the value for the price is great. What they dislike: There's a problem with SaneBox when it comes to handling notifications for important emails. I use Fastmail, and it's tricky because I can only choose between getting notifications for all emails or just selected VIP ones. I can't get notifications specifically for those that end up only in the inbox, which is something SaneBox based on IMAP doesn't currently support.

★★★★★Effortless Email Management Directly in Gmail
SaneBox helps me by sorting out emails I don't want, working seamlessly in Gmail without needing a separate app. It augments email sorting perfectly over time. What they like: I like how SaneBox really just works without needing a separate application. It integrates right into Gmail, moving emails around naturally, and the training over time is basically perfect. It's just nice that I don't have to leave my normal email client, and it augments the sorting in the way I probably already use Gmail. The initial setup was very easy, basically instant. What they dislike: I think the training interface can be a little hard to adjust to at first, but after using it every day for a couple months, I feel very confident in it.

G2 ★★★★★Effortless Email Organization with SaneBox
SaneBox keeps my inbox from running amok, organizing vendor emails and newsletters so I don't miss important information. It eases the pressure of reaching inbox zero and reduces my guilt for not staying on top of emails. What they like: I like the ease of use and the ability of SaneBox to clean up my email. It helps keep my inbox from being overrun with vendor emails and newsletters, which was causing me to miss important information. SaneBox brings organization to that situation. The ease of use makes me feel less pressured to achieve a zero inbox and keeps me from feeling guilty about not staying on top of my emails. The initial setup was very easy. Rated 4.5/5Simple and reliable email management
I use SaneBox to pre-sort my inbox. With a lot of emails, like newsletters and important mails, SaneBox helps by sorting them into different folders, allowing me to focus on what is essential. What they like: I like that SaneBox works based on rules. The rules are clear and essentially based on the sender. This makes it easy, as you decide once where a sender belongs, and then it works very reliably. The simplicity ensures that everything works well, without much fuss or complicated AI, which often doesn't work reliably. What they dislike: As is often the case, the greatest strength is the greatest weakness. It would of course be nice if SaneBox could also recognize the content of the emails. Sometimes a sender sends invoices, newsletters, and important messages. But I have to decide which folder it should go into. The simplicity is the greatest strength, but also the greatest weakness.

G2 ★★★★★Brought Sanity to My Inbox and Boosted Email Efficiency
I get dozens, sometimes hundreds of emails a day. Before I started using SaneBox, I routinely told people that if they needed me to see something, they had to text me (or email, then text me to look for the email). Even with spam filters and Gmail's native filtering, I simply got too many messages, organized too chaotically, for me to be sure I would see important emails in a timely fashion. With the organization and automation SaneBox has brought to my inbox, I no longer worry that I will miss critical emails. Non-spam junk is filtered so I can skim it occasionally if I want. Emails are sorted into relevant categories, so I can batch process related kinds of information without context switching and so I can easily prioritize what to review when/how often. It is game changing. What they like: SaneBox has done exactly what its name suggests: brought sanity to my inbox. I am vastly more efficient managing email than I used to be. What they dislike: I would like to see it get smarter about filtering based on content as well as sender. Right now that can be done, but requires more manual intervention.

G2 ★★★★★Intuitive Email Management with SaneBox
I use SaneBox to organize my inbox and prioritize tasks, making email management easier across multiple accounts. It helps me know what to work on and when, reducing the difficulty of managing daily communication. What they like: I really like SaneBox because it's super intuitive and easy to use. The drag and drop method and pre-built folders make setting up my email very straightforward. I also love how I can use multiple email boxes, and the ability to create custom folders is really helpful. The feature that I love the most is the drag and drop functionality because I don't have to think about managing my email box or setting up rules, which I used to hate. If an email doesn't go to the right box, I just move it where it should go. Once you set up the whole admin background, it's just easy to use on autopilot. The receipts folder is cleverly done, and I find the overall ease of use to be one of the most important aspects. SaneBox isn't all up in my face; once it's working, it's just working, which I appreciate. What they dislike: N/A

G2 Rated 4.5/5Works Out of the Box to Keep Your Inbox Clear
Everyone knows the feeling of a disorderly inbox, one that has newsletters, receipts, personal correspondence and business stuff all in one place. Sanebox can solve that for you. What they like: It just works – out of the box it's really effective at filing mail in the right places and helping you keep a clear inbox. G2 Rated 4.5/5Transforms Email Management with Clear Rules and Effective Training
SaneBox addresses the problem of inbox overload and constant interruption caused by low-priority email. By automatically separating important messages from informational or reference-only emails, it reduces cognitive load and decision fatigue. For me, this resulted in a significantly smaller, more focused inbox and a clearer distinction between emails that require action now, later, or never. The benefit is improved focus and a calmer, more predictable email workflow rather than reactive inbox management. What they like: The combination of a clear, rules-based email categorization and the Inbox Zero Academy. The product helps establish a simple and effective mental model for handling email (now, later, and reference-only), and the training explains why this works rather than just pushing features. In practice, this helped me reduce a severely cluttered inbox and maintain a sustainable workflow across time. What they dislike: Some features go beyond what is strictly necessary once you have internalized the Inbox Zero principles. For users who mainly want a clean, minimal setup, the breadth of options can feel more than required.

★★★★★Supercharges Inbox Management Effortlessly
What they like: I really appreciate how SaneBox helps me keep my inbox manageable. My favorite thing about it is the SaneReminders tool. When I send an email asking someone to do something, it lets me bcc a specific date, and then on that specific date a reminder comes back to me. This way, I no longer need to keep separate lists of what I'm waiting on from different people. Also, the initial setup was very easy, and they gave me a great orientation. What they dislike: Nothing - it's one of my favorite products

G2 ★★★★★Freed Me From All the Spam and Less Important Email
Problem: too many spammy or unimportant emails to review. Benefit of Sanebox: you train Sanebox by simple drag and drop so that it knows what you think are important emails and which can wait until later. Big time saver. What they like: I've been a subscriber to Sanebox for years and there are a few features I like about it. First is that it filters out spam. Of course, many tools do that, so the next feature I use everyday is called "SaneLater". This allows me to put less important emails into a different email inbox. That way I don't lose them and I can look at them and possibly respond later. The final feature that is very cool is called the "SaneBlackHole". Perhaps you know that when you think you're unsubscribing to an email list you are actually just proving that you are a person who checks their email. The company may unsubscribe you, but your email address is being sold to other companies which will then approach you about subscribing to their service. To avoid this, I put emails into the "Black Hole" - I don't actually have to open the email and I will never receive another email from that sender again. What they dislike: I have occasionally lost the connection between Sanebox and my Apple Mail, but support was quick to fix it. No other problems really. It just works.

G2 ★★★★★Changed my relationship with email. Any service and any platform. Won’t use email without it.
I receive too many emails, and services that try to guess how to filter my messages (like Gmail) do so poorly and unpredictably. I save hours a week, and can triage through and respond to emails with far more efficiency at the times of day I want to look at them. What they like: Very short learning curve, uses tools and features already built-in to my email (folders, forwarding, BCC, etc.), and works anywhere I already check email. I don't need to install special software and I can use the same tools across all my accounts. I get to inbox zero at least weekly, if not daily, and I only have to look at messages when I need to. Training is great and doesn't try to overthink anything. I don't have to create rules—just move messages to folders. What they dislike: I wish it cost a bit less for the unlimited plans. I use six different email accounts for different companies / contracts, and being able to have full access to all the features would be great. While the feature set does what I want it to, it would be nice to see more new features come to the service. I love the iOS app, and wish it was a bit more customizable and responsive.

G2 ★★★★★SaneBox has truly made me feel more sane--(thoughI still keep subscribing to too many newsletters!)
I used to have to spend time everyday scanning and deleting all the email I get, in order to keep my google account from getting full and to avoid missing anything important. Now Sanebox does that for me. What they like: As a person who subscribes to probably too many newsletters, I was drowing in email. I no longer trusted that unsubscribe works for many senders. And, because I didn't want Google's Gemini training on my email contents, I turned off smart features, which took away sorting feature--so I was LOST and overwhelmed by my inbox. Sanebox is genius! I especially love the Sane BlackBox, where I can send email I no longer want to see, without hurting friends' feeling by unsubscribing. I feel confident that what is important is quickly and easily findable. What they dislike: So far I don't see any downsides to using SaneBox. The only reason I gave 8 stars for how likely I am to recommend to friends is that most people I know don't get as much email as I do.

G2 ★★★★★Accurate Email Categorization That Keeps My Inbox Clean
Allows me to focus on the actual, actionable communications that I need to have in my inbox and takes the newsletters, shipping notifications and other extraneous stuff out and puts it somewhere to be read later. What they like: It integrates perfectly with Gmail. Filters mail into categorized sub-labels with a high accuracy rate and keeps the primary inbox clean of extraneous messages. For example, all the newsletters are in one place, for convenient reading. What they dislike: It needs some further refinement in the UI to help users find settings to review filter settings. Also needs some additional capabilities like keyword filtering that go above mail domain filtering.

G2 ★★★★★Highly Relevant Labels & Smart Sorting That Help Prioritise and Reduce Email Stress
already mentioned in my earlier responses. What they like: Easy to train so that the labels come right. I really like the labels - they’re highly relevant and help me prioritise without missing important emails. It has also greatly reduced my email stress. Works better and on top of Gmail's existing filters. In my priving plan I got enough and more labels plus I can use it across both my work and my personal email which is great. What they dislike: I don't dislike anything................

G2 ★★★★★Streamlines Email Management, Needs Better AI
I use SaneBox to eliminate distracting messages, organize emails, and streamline inbox management with a digest, saving me time. The black hole feature intelligently eradicates unwanted messages, while smart rules pretty effectively manage newsletters. What they like: I like that SaneBox helps me spend less time managing my email by eliminating distracting messages and organizing them with a digest. The black hole feature is great because it doesn't just move messages to a junk folder like my email client, but uses intelligence to permanently eradicate unwanted messages. I also appreciate the intelligent rules. I've used them in the past to manage receipts, and now I use them to streamline and manage newsletters. Additionally, the initial setup was easy. What they dislike: The AI seems to need a bit more training than I'd like, requiring me to still continue checking folders to ensure it didn't miss anything. And the price point is higher than I think the current feature set warrants. I think the full feature set should be available for the price (at least until the AI is improved, at which time I'd pay more). I still use Sanebox but downgraded to a lower tier subscription and just one of my email addresses rather than my prior 3 until it improves.
